I am an enthusiastic, friendly and hard-working individual!

I have been working in the hairdressing industry for 6 years, I’m qualified in both level 2 & level 3 hairdressing and am thriving through my in-house training at DKY (Covid has slowed down this process… but I’m ready to make up for it once the salon doors open again and finally finish my training!). I specialise in Brazilian Blowout and Lisse design treatments.

My favourite part of being a hairdresser is getting to know all of my clients and making them feel good about themselves with their fabulous hair dos! I also love being part of the DKY team, we really are like a family!

Kellie Worthington

I have always been creative and friendly, so i feel very privileged to work with the team that i do!

I have always loved the Hair and Beauty industry and I knew once I joined DKY Hairdressing was the future I was determined to peruse. I love getting to know different personalities and making people feel good about themselves and hairdressing gives me the perfect opportunity to do exactly that!

I love training in work twice a week and everyone is willing to help each other and contribute to our team which I love, all the girls in work are so friendly and it makes each day even better knowing who i’m fortunate enough to be working with.

I’m so grateful for my position in both Skilled NI and DKY and I can’t wait to become a Hairdresser and achieve all my goals for the future.

Charlie Adair

Skilled NI & Future Stylist @ DKY

My name is Charlie Adair and I am just beginning my 2nd year at Level 2 hairdressing with Skilled NI in Belfast.

I am fun and outgoing & love working in a team. I’ve had an interest in hair & fashion from a young age and love learning how each client is an individual and getting to know their personality and learning how it can be matched to their hair.

As well as attending college twice a week, I feel very fortunate to be working in a salon that is professional and provides high standard training also twice a week.

All the girls in the salon are so helpful and patient (even though I can be a bit of a chatterbox!)
