DKY Hair Company on the Belfast Road, Bangor is the pride of two local girls who have succeeded in bringing a little bit of Belfast, New York & Canada to Bangor.
Bangor girl, Christine Duncan returned home in July 2010 after working for 13 years in New York and four years in Canada. She has trained with Aveda and Vidal Sassoon specialising in Men’s hair cuts. More recently Christine attended an advanced colour and cutting course with renowned educators at Saco International in London. She also has a master colour degree with Alfaparf Milano. Her expertise in customer care has introduced a high standard of customer service to DKY Hair Company which brings a completely different experience to a hair salon. Christine is also a Bare Minerals technician.
Michelle Young spent 8 years in New York working and training with L’oreal 5th avenue, Schwarzkopf, Bumble & Bumble and Goldwell to name a few. More recently she has spent the last ten years working for both Toni & Guy and Associate Hair on the Stranmillis Road in Belfast specializing in colour. Michelle has 2 master colour degrees with Wella and Alfaparf Milano and is proud to be the technical director of DKY Hair Company.

Karen Myatt
Karen Myatt is the salon coordinator and receptionist within DKY Hair Company. She is the first port of call for all clients and is a very important member of the team.
Laura Rodgers
Laura Rodgers is the top stylist and educator in DKY Hair Company, she has trained with Toni & Guy in Belfast and more recently worked in Associate Hair on the Stranmillis Road. Laura was Wella Trend Vision 2011 regional finalist. Her entry can be viewed in the competition section of our gallery. Laura has recently returned from an intensive colour and cutting course in the prestigious Saco salon in London.
Kerry Moody
Kerry Moody is a stylist in DKY Hair Company and joined us in May 2011, she has trained in the Vidal Sassoon Academy and Saco Academy in London, she is an extremely creative stylist. Kerry also has a Masters Degree in colour with Wella. Kerry was a finalist in the Alfaparf Milano Fantasic Hairdresser awards which took place in Cork on the 6th November 2011, her competition entry can be seen in the competition work section of the gallery…
Veronica Pugh
Veronica Pugh is a stylist in DKY Hair Company. Veronica has had extensive training with Toni & Guy and has recently trained with renowned celebrity stylist Patrick Cameron who specialises in dressing hair. She was also a finalist in the fantasy section of the Alfaparf Milano Fantastic Hairdresser awards which took place in Cork on the 6th November 2011, her competition entry can be seen in the competition section of the gallery.
Sarah Stevenson
Sarah Stevenson is a stylist/technician in DKY Hair Company, she recently attended a five day foundation course at the prestigious Saco Academy in London.
Carmen McCracken
Carmen McCracken is a stylist/technician in DKY Hair Company, she has graduated her level 3 at the academy in Belfast. Carmen was a Wella Trend Vision 2011 regional finalist, (in the young talent category). Her finalist entry can also be viewed in the competition section of our gallery. Carmen recently returned from London after a five day foundation course at the prestigious Saco Academy. Carmen is taking part in a pilot programme between DKY Hair Company Bangor and Demirjian Salon in New York in which she will participate by working in Demirjian Salon in the Trump Building in Westchester.
Rebecca Bryans
